And thanks to the traction afforded by the car's midengine configuration, the Elise SC will accelerate to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and then reach 100 mph in 10.7 seconds on the way to a top speed of 150 mph. The Elise SC remains a convertible/targa vehicle as the supercharger is located within the engine bay unlike the Exige which has a fixed roof & no rear window.
