1971 Datsun 240Z Convertible Classic for Sale in San Jose, CA 95124 This 1971 Datsun is powered by a 2.4L 4 Cylinder Gasoline Engine with 125,000 miles, paired with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This convertible is shown in White with a Black Interior and is non-smoking. Original engine and transmission Converted into a convertible (The California ‘Z’) in 1987 using the design and engineering from Charlie Tolbert's the “House of Z” kit car conversions out of Sherman Oaks, CA. This car is solid and has held up over 33 years in its current form. Since its conversion, this car has never been driven in the rain and is rust-free. The seats have been reupholstered and covered by sheepskin seat covers since reupholstering. Door panels are in good condition The dash has a small 1” crack but has a cover on it now keeping the remaining vinyl intact. Original AM radio has been replaced with a JVC AM/FM Cassette Player and has two Kar Design 6 x 9 speakers that blast out clearly over freeway wind noise. It’s even got the original Owner’s Manual New Bosch 12Volt Battery Newer radiator, U-Joints, and most recently a new clutch Master Cylinder and Slave. This car has been meticulously maintained (all service records available) and cared for and I’ve owned it for the last 35 years.
