I purchased this beautiful 1986 Ford F-150, Deep Canyon Red 4X4 XLT Lariat pickup on March 23, 1987 from Dale Russell Motors in my home town of Canon City, Colorado. This beautiful F-150 classic collector's pickup is as original and as pristine as they get. I have owned and driven this amazing pickup exclusively since I bought it, and it has been stored in a garage continuously throughout the last 35 years. I have taken it out every spring/summer and changed oil, maintained fluids, batteries, and tires every summer since then, and I have only driven it enough to keep it in excellent working condition. As it sits in the garage for this winter, the 100% accurate odometer reading is 10,501 miles (an average of 300 miles per year). There are no dents, no blemishes on the interior, and no scratches on the exterior at all, save one smaller scratch on the box floor. I had a flat changed on the pickup several years back, and the service guy kind of tossed the flat tire into the box while I wasn't looking, and the wheel slightly scratched the box floor. Have you ever had the feeling you could just strangle somebody? I didn't do anything more than strongly express my dissatisfaction, but boy, it was tempting! That said, you can see the small scratch in the box on the photos I have enclosed. Other than that, there are no scratches, no dents, no blemishes inside, no stains.........no nothing to take away from the pristine condition of this truck that I am aware of, and I go over the truck every year with a fine-tooth comb. Any other potential flaws in the pictures, inside or outside the truck, are the result of reflections or shadows. I am the only one who ever drives this baby, and I always have protective paper on the floor and a clean sheet over the upholstery when I do. In fact, I experienced this again even this year, whenever I open the pickup door, and whenever I drive it, I still smell that wonderful new-car smell inside the vehicle. This too is original, as I have never sprayed anything in the truck that would give it any kind of new-car smell. It truly is an amazing, one-of-a-kind, gorgeous pickup!! I am not a professional photographer, and I did not hire a professional photographer to take mouth-watering pictures of this awesome pickup. Hopefully the pictures I have posted will be adequate to confirm everything I have said, and they will give you a good idea of the beauty and pristine condition of the pickup.
