H4 1.6L, 97cid, Gas, CARB We built this from a total shell in 2012. The company we used didn't do a good job. Since then we've been making it perfect. In 2018 we did a total rebuild again with Mike @ Charlies Foreign Car in Encinitas and spared no expense. It was done right and we have receipts for everything. For the past few years, since he finished the engine we've been working on the inside and little things and it only was driven to keep the battery fresh. It wasn't even registered until recently now that we want to sell it. All BRAND NEW parts were used for the rebuild. BRAND NEW: old stock engine case was found for this project. Brand new cylinder heads were used for this project. Brand new 92mm pistons makes this engine output 1835 CCs - This bus has plenty of power + torque. Easily can make it up hills in 3rd gear. Brand New - Main Engine Bearings, STD. Brand New Cam Bearing Set. Brand New Flywheel. Brand New Rod Bearing Set, STD. Brand New Battery. Also, Brand new side mirrors, wipers, 8 ball gear shift, window cranks and so much more! Inside is in very good condition and it’s super clean. No Smoking inside ever (well maybe in the 70's) :) But not since we rebuilt it. 2021 - Brand new paint job – no rust.
