Sellers Comments My father bought this ‘87 Type II Westfalia Campmobile in 1992 and Pamela and I traded him for it when he could no longer use it in 2006 at 95,481 miles. “Lucia” now has 195,278 true miles with the odometer replaced at 157,138 miles (see 1/10/2018 service record #012442). It now reads 38,140 miles. We’ve striven to maintain as much of the original Westy features and character as possible, while modernizing for convenience. The most significant modernizations are in the engine, drivetrain, and vehicle mechanics. Cosmetic modifications include custom made draperies by Pamela, stereo speakers, Macintosh head unit, improved closet storage, insulated (carbon-neutral) wine and scotch cellar, USB charge port w/auxiliary battery level readout.
