YouTube Video Seller’s Notes: My late best friend bought this 1967 Pontiac GTO Coupe from the original owner in Colorado in the mid 90's and had it shipped here to Orlando. The car was in really good shape but had around 120 thousand miles of use, so with my hands and his money we embarked on a complete restoration that was finally completed around 2002-03. It included a complete engine overhaul, upgrading the front brakes to power disc and adding a rear anti-sway bar with boxed trailing arms. All suspension bushings and body mounts were replaced and all brake, fuel and transmission lines were replaced with stainless. We enjoyed showing it and winning trophies for a while but then life got in the way. My friend didn't have room, so it got parked in my garage. He died in 2011 and left me the car. I've hardly driven it; hasn't been tagged since 2018, so I'm hoping to sell it to someone who will appreciate the car and drive it often. It's bone stock: Engine, tranny, distributor, air cleaner, Door panels, seats, seat belts, head liner, etc. Obviously the back wheels are not stock, they're 8 inches wide. Recently I installed an electronic ignition system, but it's all under the distributor cap, uses the factory coil and could be converted back to points in 30 minutes if that's your thing.
