(like duramax)2. Forged/billet crankshaft. (like duramax)3. Stronger metal pour at the foundry.4. Hardened valve seat inserts in heads with improved cooling passages. It is equipped with the 4L85 GM 4 speed automatic with over drive. Most Humvees sold only a 3 speed transmission , making freeway driving slow. With the over drive , this Humvee cruises at 80mph on the freeway no problem.
