2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Blad Boys is offering this beautiful 2003 Z06 Corvette. This C5 beauty is a highly maintained low mile car with less than 36000 miles showing on the odometer. Nothing looks better than a Black Vette with the power to back it up. ? The Z06 model replaced the FRC model as the highest performance C5 Corvette. Instead of a heavier double-overhead cam engine like the ZR-1 of the C4 generation, the Z06 used an LS6, a 385 bhp (287 kW) derivative of the standard LS1 engine. Using the much more rigid fixed roof design allowed the Z06 unprecedented handling thanks to upgraded brakes and less body flex. Those characteristics, along with the use of materials such as a titanium exhaust system and a carbon fiber hood in the 2004 model year, led to further weight savings and performance gains for the C5 Z06. The LS6 was later upgraded to 405 bhp (302 kW) for 2002–2004. Although the Z06's rated power output equal to that of the C4 ZR-1, the improved rigidity, suspension, brakes, and reduced weight of the C5 produced a car quicker than C4 ZR-1. The exterior is in A+ shape showing only a few small blemishes only noticeable when you get really close. It has been wet sanded and buffed to a high level and looks awesome. The interior is also in exceptional shape with only a small amount of wear on the Black leather seats. Everything works like it should and needs no repairs. I have test driven this car and I can tell you it runs, handles and drives like a dream. She has a ton of power, shifts smoothly and turns on a dime. A few performance add ons have been installed. A Band;M Cold Air Intake helps her inhale and a new Borla Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust exits the fumes. The exhaust has a throaty sound but is not overwhelming.
